WHS Compliance Self-Evaluation Checklist
Almost all organisations that put out Request for Tenders (RFT), Request for Proposals (RFP) or Expressions of Interests (EOI) will need their applicants to confirm or demonstrate their compliance with WHS requirements.
We have created a WHS Compliance Self-Evaluation Checklist to support clients and contractors to ensure that a project's legislative requirements will be met.
Our checklist will help you:
Identify areas where you are not compliant so that you can proactively put processes in place to be ready for your next tender or proposal submission
Identify where you are unable to demonstrate compliance — e.g. missing documentation that you can ensure will be available for your next submission
Check, collect and collate all required documentation and compile these into a demonstrable WHS compliance package that can be readily inserted into RFTs, RFPs and EOIs.
While the checklist is designed for small to medium-sized businesses, any business will find it beneficial for getting a complete overview of WHS structures within their organisation. We recommend that contractors should keep a copy of the checklist to use whenever they put forward a submission for a project. Companies putting out tenders or proposals should also keep a copy of this checklist on-hand to supply to their respondents if they need guidance.
